Established in 1990, by the vending, foodservice and plastics industries, Save a Cup was ahead of its time. It remains the only not for profit dedicated plastic and polystyrene recycler. Owned by the industry and working for the industry, Save a Cup continues its forward thinking approach and has extended its service beyond cups to include sachets, pods, cans and paper cups.
The award winning Save a Cup scheme offers customers a convenient, cost effective solution. Careful management, the use of specialist recyclers and full auditing ensures that nothing goes to landfill.
The scheme is simple to use and customers can choose how they use it – pay as you go approach or an all inclusive fee.
As a not for profit company the charges we apply are only to help cover the cost of running the scheme. The industry helps to subsidise the scheme so the customer can enjoy the lowest price possible.
